Q. How is this data collected?
A. Students willingly provide this information, and all data that is collected is stored in a database.
Q. How do you get the location of the University?
A. The mapping application processes the input, and sends it off to Google's Geocoding API, which returns a latitude and longitude.
Q. How do you get the University Information?
A. After we receive data from Google, we store the data in our database. Then, the name of the University is processed again, and sent to Wikipedia. Once Wikipedia responds, we store the information and the logo in the database.

A. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and a dash of MySQL. Some libraries such as MarkerClusterer and jQuery were used to extend the languages mentioned. This application also uses Google's Geocoding API, Google's Maps API, and Wikipedia's API.
